On Saturday, April 14 at 8pm, ensemble mise-en will perform a free concert at the Tenri Cultural Institute. This concert will feature a major recent work by preeminent New England composer David Rakowski (Stolen Moments), alongside rare gems from such peculiar visionaries of modern music as Charles Ives, Claude Vivier, and Harrison Birtwistle. The concert is free and open to the public: audience members are invited to meet with Rawkowski and the musicians at a reception afterwards to celebrate ensemble mise-en’s first full/large ensemble performance of the spring season.
