On Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at 7:00 p.m., contemporary music collective ensemble mise-en will perform at Columbia University’s Italian Academy, presenting a free portrait concert dedicated to the works of Italian composer Franco Donatoni. Thirteen years after his passing, Donatoni is still heralded as one of the greatest masters of 20th century of composition. The ensemble is both delighted and honored to curate a program that will feature the U.S. premiere of Donatoni’s Flag (1987) for 13 instruments, and the NY premiere of Ronda (1984).
